Save the Date: A day for AI Literacy

aIEDU is proud to join other organizations to support a National AI Literacy Day — set for March 28, 2025.

aiEDU is partnering with The EDSAFE AI Alliance, Common Sense Media and The Tech Interactive on National AI Literacy Day, a nationwide event that will engage communities across the U.S. in exploring the critical question: “What is AI?”

The day will include engaging students, educators, parents, and community members in discussions and activities focused on artificial intelligence and its impact on our world. All of the organizations involved welcome support, and here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Host an Event: Sign up to host an event in your district, community, or state. Together, we can spread awareness and spark curiosity about AI. https://innovateedunyc.formstack.com/forms/ai_literacy_day_2025_supporting_organization

  2. Submit Curriculum Materials: Have K-12 or after-school program resources focused on AI? Share them with us! Submissions will be reviewed and posted on our website. https://innovateedunyc.formstack.com/forms/ai_literacy_day_2025_curriculum_resources

  3. Contribute Professional Development Resources: If you have PD materials or recorded webinars on AI, we want to share them to help educators prepare for AI integration in classrooms. https://innovateedunyc.formstack.com/forms/ai_literacy_day_2025_asynchronous_pd

  4. Stay Informed: Sign up for email updates so you don’t miss important announcements leading up to the day. https://www.ailiteracyday.org/
