Alex Kotran, CEO and founder of aiEDU, highlighted his personal connection to the Ohio work — he is a native of the state and the son of an Akron educator. The partnership, he said, will allow aiEDU to do “critical work to drive AI Readiness with students, teachers and school systems.”

“Our work is even more exciting because Ohio brings an intentional, strategic approach to building AI Readiness. We’re proud to be a part of that vision.”

OESCA Executive Director Craig Burford says the partnership will drive an incredible impact for students. “This partnership with aiEDU and the state grant are game-changers for AI education in Ohio,” Burford said. “By building capacity within our Educational Service Centers, we’re creating a scalable model that can reach educators in every corner of the state.”
