Over 200 leaders in education joined the conversation on AI and education— focusing on what it means for schools in Colorado. aiEDU hosted presentations by OpenAI and Colorado Education Commissioner, Kathy Anthes.

Today, we announced a historic Call to Action (CTA) to bring AI education to every student in America. The CTA is a rallying cry for schools, nonprofits, universities, companies, and other stakeholders in the education ecosystem to band together behind a single goal: expand access to learning opportunities about artificial intelligence to ensure students are prepared to thrive as workers, consumers, creators, and citizens in the age of artificial intelligence.

Our friends at Dell Technologies convened a great group of educators, industry leaders, and district leaders for a summit on education innovation. aiEDU’s Christian Pinedo spoke directly to this audience on the impact of AI in education.

Today, aiEDU announced it is collaborating with Booz Allen Hamilton on a marquee program to scale our “Introduction to AI” curriculum, with a focus on engaging with the greater Washington, D.C. region. The collaboration is the largest in aiEDU’s history as a nonprofit, and our first significant regional program on the East Coast.

aiEDU’s leadership team spent four days in San Diego last week with 5,000+ educators, investors, policymakers, and entrepreneurs at the 2022 ASU+GSV Summit.

Last month, The AIEDU was invited to sit on an advisory group that is working on the state of Ohio’s strategy to revise its Computer Science Learning Standards. Today, Seed AI, a new nonprofit advocating for more artificial intelligence (AI) resources for communities nationwide, released the results of a survey they conducted in partnership with Morning Consult investigating the public’s perceptions of AI. In short, there is broad, bipartisan, pan-generational support for investing in AI education.
